Gouda W/ Cumin Seed

This Dutch cow's milk cheese has a texture and taste similar to mild Gouda, except Leyden is made with partly-skimmed milk, is less sweet and is enhanced with an abundance of whole cumin seeds, giving it a warm, spicy aroma and flavor. Cumin is a popular spice in Holland, and lends an extra authentic note to the cheese. Food-service professionals note: this is a wonderful cheese to serve with pickles, slices of authentic rye bread and almost any beer or ale out there. Made in Holland of pasteurized cows' milk.
